BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH!

Usually, the body creates healthy, normal cells that do just what they're supposed to do.   But if a cell changes into an abnormal, many times harmful form, it divides quickly over and over again without dying, making copies of itself. When this happens, a tumor, abnormal body cells grouped together in the form of a mass or lump is formed, can start to form and grow. Sometimes developing the cancer is hereditary and inevitable, that is why it is important to do annually checkups and getting mammograms every so often.

Cancer is close to my heart because my mom is a survivor.   The experience was traumatizing but thankfully she pulled through and I am grateful that she is still here with us.

Let me know what moment you have encountered in regards to breast cancer.

My Mom
